Hello everyone, I hope you are well and doing great, Welcome to my new post
I want to ask one question to myself and to everyone, Why we are making Earth full of garbage ? We can see in cities or village the waste or garbage on the road side, near the railway tracks, Public places and many more. Some of them don’t throw the waste in the dustbin they directly throw on the road or many other places. Some of the cities are very clean because the people of that city are very supportive they don’t throw the waste everywhere.
If you don’t see the dustbin near by you just keep the waste in your pocket but don’t throw anywhere. Many diseases take place if we live in the dirty places.
In the village I saw once the drain is made, they never come and clean it and people also ignores that, what happens the water of the drains comes on the road.

So Please be supportive and make your city/town or village neat and clean

We do and we only struggle

As you can see in the above image how small kids reacting towards the garbage. So, therefore I request Please know your responsibilities towards the nature or your living place.

This is a great post! The more people start to take personal responsibility for the planet, the more others will notice and follow our example. Now more than ever is the time for us to respect our Earth and really push big corporations to do their part in preserving the planet for future generations to come. Keep up the good work! 💪

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thanks!

The photos here tear my heart. I often wonder if places like this have ever known what it is to be clean? Perhaps we are appalled because we have never known filth.

I totally agree with this. The problem that I personally see is that everyone thinks it’s someone else’s responsibility. Some of the common arguments I hear from people when topics like pollution or climate change and environment conservation come up, include; ” Everyone else is doing it.” ” No one cares and nothing is going to change even if I were to start doing the right thing.” ” Why don’t you go tell those thousand others? Why are you pointing at me alone?” All I wanna say to these people is “Be better than them. Lead with example. Even if you think you shouldn’t be held accountable for other people’s doings, please don’t forget that this affects you just as much.”

What you say is so important, self awareness comes with enlightenment,… And also I agree government should change policies and take the lead… And we must do everything we can do. I sew my own reusable / washable mask so that I don’t have to add to the rubbish. Thanks for your post.

Waste management solutions are the need of the hour. We cannot keep on blaming the common man for all the governance failures. Funding of sanitisation and hygiene related services are needed.

If people and government work together to solve this problem, then definitely this problem will be solved 😀

I believe the main solution here would be educating society on self-awareness, responsibility and connection between the cause and the consequence… I have touched upon the same topic in my post last year (https://elenazine.blog/2020/05/18/fancy-living-in-a-littered-world/) – it seems that the subject is as relevant as ever

Here’s something noteworthy… One and a half billion masks are predicted to pollute our oceans this year, amounting up to 6,240 metric tons of plastic pollution and will take up to 450 years to decompose.

I have seen Indore, which has been declared the cleanest city for the fourth time in a row. Cleanliness drive has taken a shape of movement, where the local government is doing its part of collecting and disposing the garbage in a very scientific manner, but the real credit goes to its people, who have taken upon themselves to keep the city clean. If one strews wastes even unknowingly, the other questions and stops him or her. This much awareness and willpower will be needed to see the difference.

Yes sir I am also from Bhopal ( cleanest capital of India ) I also saw there but in small cities rather than Bhopal or Indore people and department are irresponsible.

The government should take up initiatives upon educating the masses about waste management and segregation of dry and wet garbage, especially among the rural regions of the country.

Unanswered questions but answer is very simple. But people won’t change the attitude, that’s the matter.A self awareness needed, atleast we ourselves can never do this to mother earth.
