HOW EDUCATION SYSTEM WILL CHANGE AFTER COVID-19 ?

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and doing great welcome to my new post HOW EDUCATION SYSTEM WILL CHANGE AFTER COVID-19 ?

As we all know that Educational Institutions are closed from such a long period of time, till now no one knows when Educational institutions will reopen again. Students are doing self study and Online Classes. But students are facing many problems with remote learning and many health related issues like headache, eye disease and many more.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational systems worldwide, leading to the near-total closures of schools, universities and colleges.

Most governments around the world decided to temporarily close educational institutions in an attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19.[1] As of 30 September 2020, approximately 1.077 billion learners are currently affected due to school closures in response to the pandemic. According to UNICEF monitoring, 53 countries are currently implementing nationwide closures and 27 are implementing local closures, impacting about 61.6 percent of the world’s student population. 72 countries’ schools are currently open.[2]

EDUCATION SYSTEM AFTER COVID-19

1. Millions of children will not return to school

Despite huge gains in enrolment during the last two decades, 268 million children were already out of school when the pandemic struck. When schools reopen, millions more may not make it back. Children whose households have suffered economic shocks

report by Save the Children released earlier this month analysed current out-of-school rates, broken down by income group, and learning outcomes. Their analysis suggests that over 9 million children are at risk of dropping out of school, with Niger, Mali, and Chad topping the list of countries where children are most vulnerable. The World Bank examined current out-of-school rates by economic quintile alongside macro projections of economic contraction in 2020 and predicted that more than seven million children may not return to school. Estimates suggest that more than half of all refugee girls will not return when schools open.

2) Social Distancing principles will have to be incorporated:

As and when schools, coaching centers and other educational institutions open up after Covid-19, the new social distancing rules will necessarily change the existing ways of imparting education. Schools might consider working in shifts, classrooms will follow strict sanitization processes and social distancing will become a norm for all activities. Till now vaccines not came yet, the world population is approx 7.8 billion. And it will take huge time to reach the vaccines.

3) Fear

Address students: Even though many students will opt to come to school, they may still fear the repercussions of Coronavirus. To help students cope with the feeling of uncertainty, the principal of the school and staff administrator will address the concerns and fears of the students from time to time, and revisit the necessary precautionary measures to make everyone feel safe.

Thank you very very much guys for giving your precious time here 🙏
